Perfect timing to find the girl of your dreams, wouldn’t you say? At this point, I needed a for-sure-high-paying job to take my life to the next level. With no solid career, no savings, I was barely keeping my head above water with my high standards of living. Although, in reality I realized time was against me at this point. At 24, having continued the same career path towards medical, and despite all the free time I had in the world (NOT) I came across a woman that stopped time all around me. In the interim, I began volunteering and studying at USC’s Keck Medical School while learning how to extract prostate cancer and stroke cells using green tea components. Within three months, I was managing the entire clinic. Not many openings for undergrads with no experience, but luckily, I was offered a job at an orthodontist’s office after learning all the essential tools and procedures the night before my interview. I realized I was fascinated by both biology and chemistry, but more so the human physiology so I decided to find a job in the medical industry. I enrolled in the biochem program at CSULA. When all else failed, I was back in school and began seeking new opportunities. If it wasn’t obvious I didn’t have a job either anymore. In addition, the 2008 subprime market crash had also brought my financial status back down to zero, if not negative. I wasn’t able to swallow this, but had no choice at the time. At 21, after taking two years off from school, I was forced to dissolve my business due to personal and political reasons. I worked part time at a lending company cold calling and soliciting better rates and terms for borrowers all across the US. At 18, I attended community college while managing my successful business, and started getting my feet wet with the financial market. At 17 I launched a legal printing company called Federal Books Center, which published Code of Federal Regulation books and sold them to large law firms and medical organizations that I had solicited to. Like any other young hustler, I had the innate ability to find high in demand (or unique) products and to sell them with a higher markup to make some cash on the side. I began with an unconditional trait to strive and to succeed with every bone in my body, and without a doubt encountered every negative obstacle any entrepreneur could ever fathom.Īt fourteen, I attended Glendale High School without the slightest clue of what subject interested me most. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there. Thanks for sharing your story with us Areg. Today we’d like to introduce you to Areg Jerahian.
